Because there aren’t enough photos of Paris on my website. I thought it’d be nice to take a break from street style photos to share photos of my next favorite thing, Paris. Okay, technically we are still on the topic of fashion because Paris Fashion Week starts tomorrow and this is no coincidence.
I attended my first ever New York Fashion Week this year! I am not sure why I never went to NYFW, I mean I live right next door to New York. It never dawned on me to attend until this year, and when it did dawn on me, it was rather late – I was in New York for only the last 3 days of fashion week. But it was still enough to kill my feet, steal my sleep, and, of course, get some great shots. New York Fashion Week is not so different from Paris Fashion Week, but there are some differences that I certainly enjoyed such as NYFW not being as crowded. There were also not as many paparazzi which meant less time getting elbowed.
I had the weirdest cravings during NYFW: in between shows all I wanted to do was come home and binge watch Game of Thrones ! I couldn’t explain it, but it’s all I wanted to do. It’s been two weeks since NYFW and I still haven’t satisfied this craving. It’s driving me crazy because I have the time to watch it but I spend that time editing photos. A good practice, for if I took even a second to watch a Game of Thrones trailer, that will be it. But, it will all be over next week, when October begins and fashion month ends. It’s always like that: I can’t wait for it to be over so I can get some rest, but I never want it to end!!! The last days are the most bittersweet days of all.
