Nothing says Spring Ready than a good pastel!
I’m not as anxious for spring as I have been in the past years because I’m just coming out of 90 degrees weather and kind of enjoying the cozy moments inside a little bit. (I was not saying the same thing last week while shooting in crazy low temperatures in New York). Still, I got very excited seeing these bright hues pop on the streets of New York. The color palette is so dreamy and I’m sure if I stare at them any longer I will be over the cozy moments and ready for spring. The funny thing is while I was smiling and snapping away at all the pastel looks, I remember overhearing a couple of photographers talk about how much the hated the color and were completely over it. I know pastels are not for everybody. Frankly, I own just a few pastel hues because the cool tones don’t look as great on me, but they still make me dream of spring. But I am curious about where you stand when it comes to soft tones like pink and baby blue in your wardrobe, love it or hate it?
