Wine Tasting in Paris

I’ve always wanted to go wine tasting in Paris!  I have bigger dreams to live near a vineyard! But that’s a story for another day.

I was super excited when my friend told me about a really cool wine bar called O Château in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. We booked the introductory class, which is offered everyday at 3pm, and tasted three different kinds of wine as we discussed the proper way of drinking wine, how to select wine, and the different regions where wine is produced in France.

Here’s a list of what we had at our tasting:

-Blanc – Domaine de la Garenne 2012

-Rosé – Château d’Ollières 2012

-Rouge – Château Coutinel 2008

In the future, I would love to make a day trip to one of the different wine regions in France. Then maybe I’d find a house there and move. O_O
