Finally, a men’s style post! For someone who rambles on about how much she loves shooting men’s style, I’ve sure done little to prove it. I promise it’s still very true, and I would be happy to direct the majority of your blame to the female dominated industry. I would really love to see more men’s street style at Fashion Week. It’s embarrassing how excited I get when I see one menswear look I love at Fashion Week… And, this is where the remainder of your blame falls on me: I’m picky! Though the problem still holds that there are not enough men styles at fashion week, the few who float around the scene do not always catch my eye. In fact the only motive that let’s me put up my camera to shoot is a certain kind of intrigue. It cannot be argued, and it’s not lenient. It’s a connection that I have or do not have. For that reason, it’s neither right nor wrong—purely subjective, as is all fashion. Sadly, I won’t be attending NYFW Men’s this year, but I do have a few more favorite men looks, like this image above, that I am excited to share soon. The play on textures in this monotone look is so well done.
