When I started reading about kale and its benefits, I went out to get some and started stuffing the raw kale in my mouth as if I wanted to see results the next morning. I concluded after a week that I was hooked, but I needed to find more ways to enjoy kale, so I went on the internet to look for some kale recipes. Personally, I’m a fan of raw veggies because of its (crisp) fresh feel, and I really didn’t mind the semi-bitter taste of kale, but just in the spirit of trying something new, I decided to try Kale Chips. To make my kale chips, I tore large pieces of kale leaves off its stems, cleaned the leaves by rinsing and then dried them with a paper towel. Next, I added a dash of salt & pepper, some olive oil, and then layered the leaves on to a lined baking sheet. I baked the kale for about 12 minutes/until it was crisp, waited for it cool and started munching. Quite yummy!
