Spring gets me excited for pretty dresses. The funny this is for most of my adolescent years I was very anti-dresses/skirts because I was convinced they looked awful on me. I was skinny and I still have tiny ankles, so whenever I wore a denim skirt I was overly conscious about how my legs looked in them. It was not until my junior year in college that I really started getting into the idea of maxi skirts and long flowing dresses. My style for dresses is very much like this street style look – long, “wind-friendly,” and sexy.
Lately, I’ve been gravitating towards off-the-shoulder dresses, stripes, tunics and shift dresses. I also just bought this dress from Free People along with some other summer dresses. I can’t wait to show you once they arrive!
