Thank God for A Blessed New Month

A happy month of December to you all! It may be the last month of the year, but you shouldn’t have to wait till the new year to start your new projects. Unless you are as particular about timing as I am, then maybe how about the fact that the 1st day of december fell on the 1st day of the week (i.e. if you start the week on sundays)-New beginnings are here!! And God’s mercies are new every morning. As long as you get  to meet new days, make the best of those meetings! And take every 12a.m./new morning/new mercy  to correct your mistakes and keep going!

Christmas is my favorite holiday! It’s probably because I like to sing, and the christmas carols are endless. I am also going to put my Psychology hat on and insinuate that due to how strong of a connection music has with memory, what we might be enjoying during Christmas each year is the memories of the christmases before! Such memory ties are strong enough to take us to a merry morning of our infancy. Who knows?! I am only guessing here. Research grant anyone?

Then there’s the gifts!! 😀 😀 😀 … Whichever reasons you may have for loving or not loving this holiday! I know that in my heart and in the heart of every christian this also marks the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST! The greatest gift of all! I know I am a little early, but Merry Christmas and a blessed month of december to you all!

Our featured images today are from Boulevard Haussmann in Paris last year. That’s the first time I saw Christmas windows before I knew they were a thing. Don’t ask me where I have been shopping. Wherever it was, it probably wasn’t a work of art like these Christian Dior decorated windows off the streets of the 8th and 9th arrondissement of Paris. I miss Christmas in Paris! My favorite  memories are visiting the various Christmas markets! And whoever made those delicious duck sausage at Champs Elysées, friend,  I miss you! :o( and hot wine, yes hot wine, friend I miss you too!
