Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, so it’s no surprise that it is the preferred backdrop for many wedding and fashion shoots. The last time I was in Paris, I revisited old neighborhoods and explored new ones which I had discovered through Instagram. Whenever I found a stunning backdrop, I’d shamelessly grab the nearest stranger to take a thousand pictures of me because there’s never a friend around when you find the perfect view and light!

Looking for the prettiest places to take pictures in Paris? I have done the homework for you! Grab your photographer friend, bf/gf. Here’s a list of five Instagram-worthy places to shoot the next time you’re in Paris.
1. Jardin des Tuileries
Fashion designers like Valentino and Elie Saab love to host their Fashion Week events at Jardin des Tuileries, and rightfully so because it’s one of the best places to shoot street style. There’s a stunning water fountain in the center, trees lined in a perfect row, a magnificent gold and emerald gate and, during the winter months, a huge Ferris wheel. Also, if you walk a little further down towards the Luxor Obelisk at Place de la Concorde, you can catch a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower.
Métro: Concorde [lines 1, 8 and 12] Tuileries [line 1]
2. Trocadéro
There are so many great places to photograph the Eiffel Tower, but my personal favorite is the view from Trocadéro. It has a huge esplanade that is perfect for those romantic photos.
Get there early to catch a beautiful sunrise on the Eiffel Tower (and avoid the crowds)! I’m willing to bet you’d see at least one engagement photo shoot happening here.

3. Cour Carée
Another Instagram favorite is Cour Careée. You might recognize this place from my photo shoot with Des & Jen. If you are a fan of Parisian architecture, you will love this place! The grand courtyard is surrounded by marvelous Renaissance architecture and those dreamy, beige color palettes that Paris is known for. Don’t forget to also take a photo in front of the stunning pyramids at the Louvre which is right next door to it!!
Métro: Palais-Royal Musée du Louvre [lines 1 and 7]
4. By the Seine – Pont Alexandre III + Pont Saint-Michel
Pont Saint-Michel — Anywhere by the Seine would make a stunning backdrop, but my favorite has got to be Pont Saint-Michel on a late evening!
Métro: Saint-Michel [line 4]
Pont Alexandre III — You can’t miss Pont Alexandre III! It’s one of the most beautiful bridges in Paris, and comes with a picturesque view of the Eiffel Tower to boot!
Métro: Invalides [lines 8 and 13]
5. Palais Royal
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know how much I love this place!
