This season, and especially at the Coach FW 18 show, the fashion streets were packed with pastels. A fun reminder that spring is just around the corner. Lavender was a really popular trend this year. & I’m still not sure if the lavender painted bridge near where the Coach show took place was a coincidence, but it certainly made a perfect backdrop for the photos.
Shiny metallics were also pretty popular this year, and it looks like print mixing is getting bolder. Even though most of these trends are a bit out my comfort zone, they were undeniably the most fun and my favorites to photograph. Who knows, I just might try my hands at one of them.
I’ve always said the colors that look awful on me are pink, light blue and lavender which is a shame because they are actually my favorite colors. The closest I came to giving any of those colors a chance was a baby blue raincoat I bought from H&M last year —and let’s just say I’m happy I only get to wear it when it rains. I am not sure if I will be hopping on the lavender trend, but I’m excited to see more of it in the upcoming fashion weeks — I will take any bit of spring season anticipation I can get.
Tamu put together a pretty wild print melange that was actually fantastic. Now, this is something I’d love to try. I’m not sure if I’d be able to pull off the white boots, but picking the right shoes has never been forte (and that’s why you’ve never seen any posts about shoes on here). What do you think of the street style looks this year?
