Thomas Jefferson Memorial
I cannot believe how long it has taken me to finally go check out the cherry blossoms in DC. For anyone who loves spring, this is a must-see. I chose to go on a weekday to avoid large crowds, but it was still quite busy when I arrived. The weather was perfect too! There were sweet melodies playing, people paddling on the water and others riding their bikes through the blooms. It was a perfect Spring moment. If you’d like to catch it before it’s over, the best views are at Thomas Jefferson Memorial (16 E Basin Dr SW, Washington, DC 20242)
Next on my bucket list is to see the cherry blossoms in Japan!
