One of my biggest goals at the beginning of this year was to take better care of my skin and health. I invested in products that I really believed in and for which I saw incredible results. I searched high and low, from luxurious French beauty to natural shea butter straight from Ghana. I was determined to build a regimen that I could rely on for many years to come and a regimen that would ultimately be good for my skin health. It meant scouring through Instagram and youtube beauty cult favorites and examing what was just hype and what was really worth the coins. It meant buying, testing, and returning a ton!
My beauty mission is to find products that are not just quick fixes, but actually work long term on my skin to maintain it, protect it, and nourish it. This means avoiding products with horrible ingredients and stacking up on products with great elements like antioxidants, vitamins and natural components; Products that are ultimately good for my skin health and not just the appearance of my skin.
