If you have been following my website from the beginning, you probably understand how much it means to me to see Ghana today with hundreds and hundreds of members of our global African community flocking in to celebrate the Year of Return!
It has been my dream for many years that the world will finally see and celebrate the beauty of our land and the richness of our culture!! I have been most passionate about promoting tourism in Ghana ever since I picked up a camera and could finally directly express the beauty I have been talking about to friends for years.
I have worked on countless projects in advocacy for Tourism in Ghana. You may have read about some of them on my website.
Today I am excited to see the year of return leap! This a project I have been familiar with since the beginning of the year and in my due diligence have been working on smaller tourism projects to help promote the agenda.
The Year of Return is a celebration that marks 400 years since the arrival of the first enslaved Africans in Jamestown, Virginia. It is an official call to home to celebrate how far we’ve come and reconnect with one another
If you’d like to take a look at some of the projects I have worked on or even learn more about Ghana for a future visit, I created a page compiling my favorite projects and work.
