I will start off with the biggest surprise: if you were expecting the usual spring-inspired pastels at Fashion Week this year, think again! For the first time in a long time, pastels weren’t trending in spring! In fact, this season’s trends were far from soft and muted. Think pops of bright colors, a lot of blue and orange combos, and a shocking ton of fall-inspired looks like Tartan and burnt orange!
As much as I love the soft tones of pastels with its delightful reminder that spring is right around the corner, this switch-up is certainly quite refreshing. I especially can’t wait to try the blue and orange color block! Which trend will you be trying?
