It’s May 27, 2020. I’m exhausted. I can’t watch the news and I can’t stop watching the news. I have obsessively opened and closed apps on my phone. Taking deep breaths in between. I keep seeing the video and reading the outrage in the African American community over the death of a black man who was killed by a police officer kneeling on his neck. There were other stories like this, weeks before this, days before this, violence, oppression, outrage, in the news, stewing in large pot of rising cases of corona virus deaths and infections.
We are all trying to find peace right now.
The world is hard enough right now. Everyone is hurting right now. Hold everyone close.
Love, just love us.
Love, Us.
