Rain Check

Getting lost in Paris is something I look forward to every day because of all the magical discoveries I find every time. In fact, most days, I pick a point on the map to visit as my starting point and just wander around for hours until I find another place I recognize. After doing this for almost 8 years, it should feel like I know Paris like the back of my hand, but it still gets me every time with new surprises.

On this day, I was trying to remember my way back to a phone boutique in Madeleine and then head back for a stroll through Place de la Concorde when I stumbled on this beauty: A little alley called Le village Royal where 800 colorful umbrellas hung in the sky!
