Fall Foliage Maryland 2020 photography by Armenyl

First of Fall

It always takes me a little longer than most to cozy up to the Fall Season. Even though there’s lots to love, I am usually not too pleased with anything that puts an end to my summer. Every year, without fail, I whine, complain,* and occasionally roll my eyes at anything remotely related to Fall including and especially pumpkin spice lattes** I temporarily block friends who talk about shopping for boots or who wear scarves in 60 degrees weather! I ignore the pretty autumn lights that shine through my window in the early mornings and pretend the colorful leaves are not absolutely stunning.

But eventually, I fall for it and if you’ve been following my page for a while, you’ve probably seen my biggest homage to fall in this post. (You could hardly tell I ever hated fall in that shoot.)

So, now that I’ve finally let summer out of my system, I am here to wish us a Happy official first day of Fall 2020!

*see timestamp in post. This has been going on for more than five years.

**I have still never tried a pumpkin spice latte. Talk about stubbornness.
